1. I am disagree with it because it's not fair for the one who works hard but the others don't. They would earn for what they did.
2. Here are my laws for my society:
    . Everybody must go to college.
    . Everybody must have a job.
    . Everybody must have the same rights.
3. I would donate some money or help them get a job.
4. That would be very stupid. We need to be smarter so that we can compete each other by knowledge, not by laws that force us to be equal. We need a revolution to against or erase this idea.
5. Total equality is impossible. We are all different, none of us are the same.
6. In class, all students are the same, include me. We have the same right, pay the same money for the school.

Advertising questions

How does advertising influence consumption?
Advertising is trying to convince people to buy stuff by showing the good side and hiding the bad side to make the people believe that is a good product.


Do you think citizens are sufficiently informed about the sustainability of our consumption habits? If not, how can we become more informed about sustainability issues?
I don't think the people care about sustainable, what they care are it is good or bad and do they need it. 


Do you think these advertising techniques influence what you and your friends purchase?
Yes, advertising will make me know about the product and when i need it, i might buy it.

About Nha Trang

Nha Trang is a very famous city, i have been there for many times. It is a very nice place to come for vacation. There is a very nice beach for swimming and i love to swim. The climate is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The people in NhaTrang is very nice and friendly. Nhatrang is a small city and not so many people live there. I love Nhatrang and it is very beautiful.

Migration/Immigrant assignment

There was one of my friend that is a immigrant.His name is Tuan.He moved from Vietnam to U.S. Before he immigrated,he lived in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.He immigrated to U.S for pull factor because his parents wanted to get a better job and he wanted to study in a better school. They thought Vietnam is a poor country and when they came to U.S,they would have a better life.

The positive effect after he went to U.S is he could adapt or spread his culture. He can have a better life, more money and help the economy rises up. The negative effect is conflict with the people who don't want to more and he will change his culture, example is he will speak English instead of Vietnam.

The climate is changing, and the earth gets hotter because of global warming.

Question 3: What is the difference between “weather” and “climate”?

Weather is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short period of time.

Climate is same as weather, but it is how  the atmosphere behaves in a long periods of time.

Question 4: What are the examples listed in the article of “extreme weather”?

They are Earthquake, Tsunami, Floods, desertification....

Question 5: What experiences have you had with “extreme weather”?

I haven't had any experience with extreme weather because i haven't faced any extreme weather before.

Question 6: What does the word “perception” mean?:

The process, act, or faculty of perceiving or the effect or product of perceiving.

Question 7: What is your “perception” of global climate change?

Global Warming causes by the earth get hotter and the temperature increases so it heat the earth up. It will make the iceberg in North pole melt and it will increases sea level. All of that will cause to the end of the earth and human will be extinct.

What i have learned from the family tree project.

I have learned that this project is very helpful because it help us to know each other and our cultures so we can understand each other easily.

More 50 % of the students are Chinese. Most them follow Buddhism because in VN, Buddhism is the most popular religion. About my culture is i am a Vietnamese and i was born in Nhatrang. My father came from Nghe and my mother came from Da nang. they met each other and married in nhatrang. i have no religion but i honor my ancestor.

I think Tet is the most popular holiday because it celebrate new years and all of family members will unite and meet each other. The children in Vn  like Tet because they can get lucky money.

About Me

My name is Ha, this is the third years that i study in ais. Mr Blake will be my social studies teacher. I felt excited and i hope that i will have a happy time in 8thgrade. My hobbies are playing games and hanging around with friends and i hate to studies in holidays and summer. I hope that 8th grade will be easy for me so that i can get high grades.
